SCAI ITEC’s new service cost and investment budget planning and control system can manage an organisation’s infrastructure components and projects using Microsoft MVC/Razor technology instead of ASP.NET.
The platform comprises a modular system built around job orders/projects. The entire human and technical resources management cycle is supported, from identifying requirements to formalising demand, submitting purchase requests, allocating resources, filling in timesheets and approving workflows.
Innovation and security
The project involved designing a system using modern software architecture based on a full-stack framework built to clearly decouple the various application layers (UI, business layer, data layer, etc.).
The application manages user profiling in a structured manner according to roles and relative business data entitlements, in full respect of corporate compliance guidelines.
The UI was also redesigned and modernised, rendering it technologically independent from the business layer.
The organisation was migrated to the new platform and the application management process was taken over.
