The client, a leader in automotive aftermarket component distribution, presented SCAI Fast with a specific request: the correction of SAP malfunctions and maintenance.

Within this framework, SCAI Fast developed and supplied a complete and differentiated premium offer for the Italian, Balkan and Greek market divisions with its Application Maintenance Service (AMS) services.

Measures specifically focused on support:

• with MM – WM – RF (Local Decentralised SAP WM) areas thanks to the adoption of the SAP Core System, but without the WM module that is already managed locally and integrated for Radio Frequency functions;

• with the maintenance and deployment of the group’s SAP application projects and internal satellites;

• with FI / AR -FI / AP – FI / GL – AA – BW – PP (Demand Planning) and ABAP programming areas, in on-demand mode.

A complete AMS service

SCAI Fast has provided a complete AMS suite tailored to the client’s requirements.

In addition to the Help Desk, and the monitoring and tuning of the systems, the offer included an all-round governance service and the management of user profiles, systems engineering and application environments. Among other services, SCAI Fast provides a three-way maintenance service: corrective, for application malfunctions; preventive, to improve processes and system efficiency; and developmental, with improvements adapting applications to new business needs.

The work team assigned to Application Management, made up of functional analysts, technicians and fully experienced developers, promptly started work.

SCAI Fast has constantly monitored the service and performance, improving service quality in compliance with the needs and timeframe of the client. Processes are constantly refined, thanks also to constant Service Manager follow-up and progress meeting operational coordination.
