SCAI ITEC has implemented a data lake solution to house all structured and unstructured data stored in a distributed storage (object store) in the cloud.
A data lake accessible from anywhere
Customer data are now stored in a new location after being previously uploaded and processed using the Hadoop platform.
The best tools were identified for migrating data from the Hadoop platform to the cloud data lake, and for processing and managing them in their new environment. All automations and configurations were delivered in Infrastructure-as-a-Service mode. Migrating data from the customer data centre to the cloud allows data to be accessed from any platform for processing, analysis and reporting purposes.
The cloud data lake serves as a single centralised repository of all data generated by systems, actions and interactions within and outside the users’ IT system, and is usable by on-premise and cloud applications.
