Upgrading professional skills, which is indispensable to keep pace with the development of new technologies and methodologies in business process management, is a trending topic for ICT companies. But there is no standard, no one-size-fits-all training model for finding the most effective and efficient solutions in a given work context.
The on-the-job training approach is increasingly used within organisations. Teams are tested in terms of soft skills as well as in terms of technical and specific skills, precisely because they are thrown into the field. The method of learning while doing is not entirely sufficient to ensure the growth of a professional: in some cases it may limit the individual’s training if project priorities and deadlines take over. Curbing the autonomy of the individual inevitably also impacts on project performance and reduces efficiency for the entire company.
If on-the-job training is not enough, the training courses offered must also be rethought and tailor-made to suit the team, the company and the particular mix of skills that guarantees results, not only in terms of hard skills but also taking into account the development of individual talents and their uniqueness.
Based on these considerations, SCAI FAST invests in training courses that are as tailor-made as possible.
Training based on the characteristics and capabilities of each individual resource, to enhance talent, while respecting personal interests, inclinations and aptitudes. The result is an increased awareness of one’s potential, greater work autonomy and a direct benefit in strategic corporate projects.
What are our proposals? At SCAI FAST we have chosen to bet on two main aspects:
1 Technical Training
We focus on structured growth paths, themes of technological innovation and business processes, to nurture the innovative and entrepreneurial soul that characterises each person in our team, while respecting the time committed to project activities and, last but not least, their free time.
Each pathway is guided not only by the Human Resources team, but also by our senior tutors, with direct experience in highly strategic projects, to support the junior figures. We also work in partnership with authorised training organisations for certifications in SAP, SAP Activate, and Project Management, with a focus on AGILE, SCRUM, SAFe, DEVOPS, ITIL and other methodologies.
2 Transversal Training
Developing excellent technical skills is not enough to excel and stand out and be competitive in the market. Today’s professionals need to hone a certain sensitivity in grasping the evolution of the business and adapting to changes in the way they work (remote/office).
We want to improve day by day in the delivery of courses that are also geared towards communication and public presentation, thus also fostering a spirit of collaboration and inclusion among colleagues.
It seems clear to us: to increase performance, we must never stop learning. Training is a tool for constantly comparing ourselves with others, where we can learn and adopt new best practices.
Similarly, the paths with our customers need to be revisited, to support them in their Business & Digital Transformation projects. Continuous updating is a mix of factors: method, technological and process skills, problem solving, communication skills and sensitivity to others.
